Game freezes all the time

On level seven by them time you start to get the upper hand the AI player gets stuck making its next move. It happens over and over and I can only get to the same point. I wish there was a fast forward button for when the AI player is making its move. Not a bad game otherwise but is very frustrating when it doesnt work.
